Bespoke Architects is a Geelong-based architecture practice founded by Nicole Walters and Daniel Calder in 2010.
We design new homes, renovations and commercial spaces, bringing a personal approach and practical understanding to each project. Our work begins with the people who will use a building, the qualities of its site and the possibilities that bring the two together.
What makes it bespoke?
Every project starts with a different story.
For a home, that might be the way you live, the things you collect or a connection to a particular place. For a commercial project, it might be how your business operates and what your space needs to support.
We listen, ask questions and explore these priorities with you. Views, orientation and the surrounding environment help shape the design, alongside your needs today and the changes you anticipate in the future.
The result is architecture with a clear purpose and a character of its own.
Design with practical understanding.
Our background combines architectural training with earlier qualifications in building design and drafting. It informs how we move between ideas, drawings and the details needed to bring a project to life.
We work with clients from initial concepts through documentation and, where engaged, contractor selection and contract administration during construction. Throughout the process, we help you understand the decisions ahead and how they relate to your project.

Nicole Walters
Director & Co-founder | Registered Architect
Nicole leads Bespoke’s residential work, helping clients navigate new homes and renovations from the first conversation through to construction. She enjoys understanding how people want to live and translating that into spaces that reflect their personalities and are a pleasure to use.
Daniel Calder
Director & Co-founder | Registered Architect
Daniel leads Bespoke’s commercial work, with experience across service stations, retail, warehouses and self-storage facilities. His work brings together site analysis, feasibility and consultant coordination, alongside oversight of documentation across the practice.

Our studio is based in Geelong West, with residential work across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast, alongside a wider commercial portfolio.
