A targeted refurbishment revitalising an established inner-city service station through an expanded food offer, clearer customer circulation and a renewed street presence.

The existing 326-square-metre building was reorganised to create a contemporary convenience shop with café seating, a commercial kitchen, improved point-of-sale areas and upgraded storage, cool-room and back-of-house facilities.

A relocated entrance and revised internal planning establish a more intuitive customer journey between the shop, café and forecourt. The design balances the operational demands of a busy service station with a warmer, more welcoming retail environment.

Externally, the project includes the re-cladding and extension of the existing fuel canopy. Crisp blue-and-white aluminium finishes unify the site with APCO’s brand identity while strengthening its presence on Moorabool Street.
